Race Day Information

Start/Finish.

Registration is on the Tilston Playing fields between 9.30 and 10.00AM where you will be given your number – please bring your own safety pins.

A warm up will take place on the field at approx. 10.10am.

The race will start from St Mary’s Church, Tilston at 10.30 am precisely (no late starters) A map of the race route can be found on our website http://10k.tilston.org

Free baggage storage will be available from 9am in the Pavilion on the field, note that all bags are left at your own risk.

Please keep to the Righthand side of the road. Race warning vehicles will travel at the front and back of the runners to alert traffic that the race is in progress. Two St John Ambulance response units will be patrolling the course in

There will be marshals along the course signposting the correct route. There is 1 water station at approx. 5.5km.

Times will be provided at the end of the race and later on our website.

Medical Information

Please complete the medical info on the back of your number.

Entrants participate at their own risk and undertake not to take part in the race unless they are medically fit to run.

The race organisers, sponsors, charities and suppliers will not be liable for any injury, loss or expense which may arise in consequence of your participation in this event.

Travel and Parking

From the centre of Tilston take Church Road towards Shocklach, pass the school on your left and the car park is in the field on your right adjacent to the Playing Fields.

Toilets and Refreshments

Blue Loos are sponsoring the event and are providing toilets on the field.

Hot and cold drinks and refreshments will available for purchase from the Pavilion.

Bottled water together with snack bars and sweets will be available to all runners

Presentation Cups and Medals

These are generously sponsored by Whitchurch Sports, and will be awarded to the winning male and female runner, and Veterans (50+) together with other awards and prizes.
